Simon St. Laurent

 

After studying Art and Film & Television production in school, Simon decided to push buttons in a videotape duplication house. Soon after regaining his senses he broke into the optical effects field (while still pushing buttons on the side) and undertook some of his own pet projects in order to stay busy. Simon’s loves are aviation, film and television history, and military affairs. He has worked in various job capacities such as film and video cameraman, opticals effects cameraman, medical/surgical photographer, Molson Breweries worker, film projectionist, and film programmer.

Simon designed and constructed the futuistic set of the Starship Jefferson for Major Faultline’s time travel episodes.
