Writer, Performer
Scott first appeared as A plumber in Episode 16 of the Tights and Fights proof of concept series. Not The Plumber… Yet…
He is originally from the mean streets of Ottawa, Ontario. Where they’ll cut you as soon as look at you. With a piece of important paper. And then they’ll make you cut lemons.
He has very little of that “fancy book larnin’” but did attend college once. Once.
He has an extensive background in improv comedy, having performed with Theatresports Toronto, The Imps, Uncharted Walters, and shows too numerous to mention. He was an improv slut.
He has written and performed sketch comedy extensively as a member of troupes such as Powertool Prophesy, Fun Day Is Cancelled and Abbott and Watkins. He also appeared in The Too Hot for TV Showcase and The All Nude Karl Marx Revue. He really likes the word “extensive”.
He writes collectively with the genre theatre collective The Canadian Space Opera Company, whose works include Peril from Beyond Space, Gravestone Posse, and Casa de los Fantasmas, which received 4 stars in Toronto’s Eye Magazine for it’s production at the Toronto Fringe Festival 2008. Oddly, this does not get him dates.
He appeared on Country Music Television’s faux reality sitcom The Wilkinsons as a high school guidance counsellor, an episode he still occasionally hears about from such far off places as Australia or Barrie, Ontario. He actually doesn’t much like country music.
He also co-writes and co-produces Ask Doctor Newt with Adam Swimmer begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting, in which he appears as Trevalian Q Lampman AKA Guy #1. He wonders why Adam insisted he dress that way.
