Justina Chong

 

Justina Chong is a writer based in Toronto. She wants to tell stories that move people, like how her twin’s stories make Coca Cola and noodles burst out of everyone’s nose at dinner. Justina grew up between Hong Kong and Toronto before studying in McMaster University’s Arts & Science program.

At McMaster, Justina had her fiction, literary nonfiction and poetry published in Incite Magazine, and won the Humanities Essay Prize. She decided to take her writing more seriously when she learned that strangers enjoyed her work. Justina then went on to complete her studies in the Children’s Entertainment Program at Centennial College. Recently, Justina wrote two episodes for the preschool show What’s Your News?.
